Who were the big winners and losers on this week’s episode of Raw?
After WWE Raw on Monday, there are a handful of superstars who are seeing their stock rise. Likewise, a couple of superstars look like they’ve hit a rough spot. A pro wrestler’s career is always full of peaks and valleys, but in WWE they get magnified because of the number of eyes on them at all times.
With that said, let’s take a look at some superstars on the move after Raw this week.
Winners
The Miz
The Miz would be a big winner just by virtue of his impending fatherhood. But factoring in what he did this week on Raw, and it’s clear that he’s the big winner of the week for Team Red.
First, Miz laid into Enzo on Miz TV. Enzo in 2017 is very similar to Miz in 2007. The locker room is losing faith and/or hates them. So Miz speaks from experience when he ripped into Jersey’s Finest.
Next, the impromptu match between Miz and Enzo was wonderful. This was mainly due to the running promo battle in the middle of the match. Sure, Enzo may have won that battle, as well as the match. But Miz won the war – for both himself and the honor of his family.
Elias
I mentioned in this week’s Raw review that Elias has had quite the turnaround from his time in NXT. To put it simply, if WWE had an award for Most Improved, it would most definitely belong to Elias.
This week on Raw, Elias treated the Anaheim crowd to a terrific song about the city. Honestly, I don’t know why they hated it. But he followed it up by making short work of Kalisto, after the Lucha Dragon interrupted the sure-to-be hit song.
Elias has clearly put himself in position to be in for big things following No Mercy. Hopefully he can make as big an impact in the ring as he does on a mic.
Losers
Cesaro & Sheamus
These two go hand in hand, since they’re working to regain the Raw Tag Team Championships. But this week’s in-ring work looked kind of sloppy, almost like they were just going through the motions.
It may have been the ropes themselves, but Cesaro slipped going for the assisted White Noise. Sure, everyone is entitle to a flub, botch, or boo boo. But this seemed a little like the opening of the floodgates.
Following the match, Cesaro and Sheamus are right back where they were when the night stared. Ahead of their rematch with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, The Bar have beef to settle with Gallows and Anderson.

Where was the cruiserweight segment on Raw this week?
All we got was Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender Enzo Amore getting his butt kicked by The Miztourage.
When you factor in a later start time than normal for 205 Live on Tuesday – due to the live Mae Young Classic final – it’s like the program and roster mean nothing.
The cruiserweight division has been such a mixed bag, but this week seems especially egregious. All these guys on the roster, and we can’t get them in one stinking segment?
