5. Shane vs. KO Announced

I’ll just get the prediction out of the way, because it’s easy enough. Vince McMahon will come out on SmackDown Live to a massive pop, and he’ll prove why he’s one of the greatest showmen in the business by working the crowd to perfection. At the end of whatever brilliant promo he and Owens manage to cut, Vince will announce that Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens will have to settle their differences at Hell in a Cell.

I have no idea if this could be the co-main event with Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura, but I’ll be damned if these two don’t put on a show. No, seriously, I’ll be damned, because I’ll say so many four-letter words if the match stinks that there will be no saving my soul.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Owens approaches this promo, and it’s not exactly everyday you get to see Vince on live television. He only appeared one other time this year, and that was for a brief moment on the Raw after WrestleMania to announce a “Superstar Shakeup”. And boy, wasn’t that fun?

Owens has threatened to sue the entire WWE for what Shane McMahon did to him last week on SmackDown, and I have a feeling there will be some sort of incentive for him beating McMahon. They might even end up fighting over the commissioner spot at Hell in a Cell. Whatever the stakes are, they figure to be high, because Vince doesn’t mess around.
