3. The Usos Will Retain

The greatest tag team or individual wrestler or manager or anything in the WWE today is The Usos. These guys are on fire, and they probably only lost the tag titles at Battleground as either a “Swerve” or a half-assed way of giving The New Day another title reign to break the record. It’s pretty much a given that they will retain tonight, too, because they chose a “Street Fight” as their stipulation. And given the chemistry between Jimmy and Jey, as well as the rough edge they’ve portrayed since their heel turn, this is the perfect match for them.

OK, maybe I shouldn’t get too ahead of myself. After all, there are rumors that The New Day dropped the tag team titles at SummerSlam to The Usos just to win them back again. The rumor is that the WWE would like them to eventually have the most title reigns of any tag team in history, which makes sense. They are an excellent tag team, and few others in the WWE are more marketable than the trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods.

That said, The Usos are too good of a tag team right now to drop the titles on SmackDown Live or even at Hell in a Cell. Whether their opponents are American Alpha, Breezango, or The New Day, they are a lock for a four-star match, and that’s the best team to have on the top of the card. And if they remain champions, they can have a top-tier feud with the newly-formed tag team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin.
