The Street Profits vs. The Ealy Brothers
Result: Street Profits win by pinfall
Rating: 1.5 out of 5 stars
It’s time for some tag team action between The Street Profits, whom Nigel McGuinness does not sound high on, and the imposing Ealy Brothers. Angelo Dawkins and Uriel Ealy start things off with some taunting, and Uriel gets plenty of heat by removing Dawkins’s headband in the corner, eating a tough right hand for his work.
Montez Ford enters, and he and Dawkins team up to do some serious damage, but Gabriel Ealy tags in to turn the tide of the match. Both Dawkins and Uriel tag back in, with Dawkins hitting some more rapid-fire offense. Ford hits a frog splash to finish the match, and The Street Profits come away with the win to keep building their momentum.
Dawkins and Ford then celebrate in the crowd, and they are indeed getting over here in NXT.
Asuka
We get a nice video package of superstars praising Asuka, as well as a montage of some of her highlights and promos. The likes of Ember Moon, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair give her high, well-deserved praise, and, yes, we’re all going to miss her. Mauro Ranallo’s quote, “We’ll never see anything like Asuka,” is so true.
Regal Still Deciding
William Regal is asked if he has any plans for how the new NXT Women’s Champion will be decided now that Asuka has vacated the prestigious title, but all he says is that he must take a few more weeks to decide on how he wants to move forward with all of this. Now we all really want to see what happens here.
