2. Emma vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss is the long-term story here, so it would be a bit of a surprise if Bliss didn’t retain her title in this crowded field. I believe the whole purpose of making this match a Fatal Four-Way was to give Bliss an opportunity to win without making Sasha Banks, her original opponent in a rematch, look any worse for wear. The Jax vs. Bliss storyline needs more fleshing out, and it needs to be told with the title involved. Why? Because Jax deserves to win that title, and she damn sure needs it after all the work she’s put in to be seen as a legitimate monster.

That said, the WWE sure loves its swerves, and wouldn’t it be insane if Emma came away with a win? She’s coming off of a random singles loss to Banks, and I doubt her #GiveEmmaAChance hashtag will pull her from the purgatory of “Jobberville”.

That said, there are rumblings that Emma will be Asuka’s first feud on the main roster, since it has already been revealed that Raw will be Asuka’s home. The easiest thing the WWE can do is have Jax or Banks take the pin, book Emma like a valid contender who stood her ground with the main eventers in this match, and then have her do the job to her old NXT foe.

However, the WWE’s plan could be to have Asuka win the title in her first match on the main roster, as Paige’s first match on the main roster was a championship victory. They’ve gone this route before, and Asuka is by far the most dominant wrestler they’ve ever built in NXT. Beating Emma might feel like a cheap way to win her first title, but they could go that route if they want to save the build for Asuka’s matches against the bigger stars on Raw.
