Six Standouts From the Mae Young Classic

Lacey Evans

Call her style a throwback, but Lacey Evans is out of the ordinary when it comes to her character.  Evans is also signed to the NXT brand to which, though she has had no real success thus far.  That will most likely change after her showing at the Classic.

What is so great about Evans is that she was a former US Marine prior to her wrestling career.  With how active WWE is with Tribute to the Troops and military related things, this is a great way to highlight both Evans and the company.  In addition, Evans said she is a Marine, a wife, and a mom.  One could say she’s en route to being Superwoman.  Many female fans can relate to Evans this way.

Evans’ doesn’t have as much experience in the ring as her other peers however her future shines bright.  Evans has what it takes to have success on NXT so her luck will more than likely improve in the future.  The Classic was a great opportunity for her and even though she only made it to the second round, Evans certainly made an lasting impression.
