Six Standouts From the Mae Young Classic

This slideshow wouldn’t be complete without the Mae Young Classic winner.  There has been much buzz about the Japanese sensation, and the company exemplified that to the highest point with the Classic.  However, Sane proved that she could back the hype up with consistent matches that were highly praised and some of the Classic’s best matches.

Sane is presented as the girl that all odds are against her.  Sane excels at storytelling, and she told a story every time she was in the ring at the Classic.  The Pirate Princess was able to overcome the competitors that were thrown at her and deserved that win.  Sane’s place in NXT will be spotlighted as she will take part in a Women’s Championship match at NXT Takeover: Houston.  In essence, her rise to the top of the division will not change anytime soon.

Many fans can agree that Sane’s gorgeous flying elbow drop is second to none when it comes to executing the move.  Her execution is amazing every time she performs the finish on her opponent.  The elbow drop will be a huge factor in this upcoming NXT Championship match.  Fans can’t forget that Sane is well-rounded and seasoned too.  Sane will have major pressure heading into Takeover, but like anything else, she has the ability to overcome that pressure and shine on a major stage.
