Paige Returns to the WWE Performance Center; Return ‘Imminent’
By Harry Austen
Former Divas Champion Paige will be returning to action shortly, following a successful trip to the WWE Performance Center.
The Diva Of Tomorrow has been missing from WWE TV for well over a year, with fans not just speculating her return date, but also her employment. Paige’s relationship with Alberto El Parton has clearly made it difficult for the Superstar to engage with the company.
She did provide an update for her in-ring return (in mid August), with KENS 5 producer, Chelsey Hernandez, who asked when she’s planning on coming back.
"“Hopefully within the next couple of months, fingers crossed! Now I have to get cleared by WWE doctors.”"
And it looks like Paige is finally taking the necessary steps. Yesterday, she returned to the Performance Center, writing on Instagram:
"Went to see an old friend today. Good to be back there!"

What’s more, the WWE even had a write-up on their site; alluding to a potential Paige return in the not so distant future.
"The former Divas Champion — unseen in a WWE ring for more than a year — revealed she has returned to the WWE Performance Center, presumably beginning her return to active competition in WWE."
The article continues by mentioning the Superstars’ accomplishments, then finally, towards the end states:
"If her return his imminent, as this post is leading many in the WWE Universe to believe, consider the women of Raw and SmackDown LIVE officially put on notice."
Clearly, the company are trying to stay relatively coy.
So, is Paige finally returning? Well, now it seems inevitable. The company only mention things on their website that are concrete, moreover, they wouldn’t just mention Paige for nothing. As much as the wording sounds cryptic, don’t be surprised to see the superstar show up any day now.

Hopefully, returning to wrestling can put Paige in a better frame of mind. She hasn’t had the best year – to say the least – and returning to in-ring action could do her the world of good. So, I guess it’s time to fantasy book her return, people.
