The RAW Tag Team Division

Highlights of the division

The Bar scored a big win in their triple threat tag team match but they won’t be favoured to win the titles back this Sunday. It’s hard to envision a scenario where Rollins and Ambrose will lose the gold they just won a month ago. This feud has lost a lot of steam since Summerslam and that’s based on how both teams have been booked. Less storytelling on the mic has dampened any enthusiasm from this title rematch. The Raw Tag Champs should be favoured to retain their titles. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to them next? Will they try to attempt to reunite the Shield with Roman Reigns? That’s the only option they have at the moment since they have no other team to face in the division in the meantime.

The Hardy Boyz lost their opportunity to face the Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at No Mercy. So what’s next for Team Extreme? That’s the only question that has been plaguing this team since they lost the tag titles back in June. They need to do more on Raw, it doesn’t have to be wrestling in random matches all the time. Going in a completely different character avenue is the only thing the Hardys need to do at this very moment. They won’t be on No Mercy, so what is there for them to do? Sitting around waiting for WWE Creative to give them something wil not cut it. They have already teased their “Broken” gimmicks on social media. It’s time for them to bring it out to our TV screens, not on our mobile ones.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the division.

Gallows and Anderson have been on a losing streak as of yet and haven’t won a match since the beginning of July. So two months have passed with no progress, both in their in-ring performance and creatively as well. They are officially the broken clock of the tag team division. It’s clear at this point that the WWE doesn’t know how to book them on Raw. They are a funny duo that could also play the perfect villain role in the tag team division. They should head to Smackdown Live if they have no usefulness on Raw.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
