Do It At WrestleMania

Roman already headlined WrestleMania 31, Wrestlemania 32, Wrestlemania 33, and if you listen to the dirt sheets, will be headlining WrestleMania 34. With Cena’s schedule changing as much as the title holder of the RAW Women’s Championship, his ability to not only be at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome next April but actually build to the match with Roman is up in the air.

Here’s the thing though. The only way for Roman to go is up. Think about it. His first headlining appearance was against Brock Lesnar. The second was a win against Triple H, one of the main men behind the curtain. His third appearance was a win against the man who might not be referred to as “Mr. WrestleMania”, but arguably is the most recognizable figure in WrestleMania history.

So why not make his fifth WrestleMania appearance and possibly fourth main event slot a win over the face of the company of the past 15 years?  If Roman is truly the man that is going to lead the WWE into the next decade, the passing of the torch needs to mean something.

No one is going to remember it if it happens at No Mercy. Give Cena the win here, leave Easter eggs in between, and revisit the feud come WrestleMania season.
