2. Rusev vs. Randy Orton

Rusev’s quick loss to Randy Orton at SummerSlam was a huge disappointment for most fans, since “The Bulgarian Brute” is quite the popular man in the WWE Universe despite being a stereotypical heel.

Apparently, the WWE is trying to tell a “Legend Killer” type story with Rusev and Orton, except “The Viper” is the legend in this case. Rusev did technically avenge his SummerSlam loss by defeating Orton in seconds last week via a superkick.

However, this feud isn’t over. Rusev’s win came after Orton was attacked by Aiden English and had already competed in a match with English that he won via an RKO. Although Rusev was “elated” following his victory and can now proudly go back to his home country of Bulgaria and proclaim himself a hero, I highly doubt Orton is done with “The Bulgarian George Clooney”.

I believe this feud will continue to be built, and I am anticipating the announcement of this as a match at Hell in a Cell. Last year, Rusev lost a Hell in a Cell match inside of the structure to Roman Reigns for the United States Championship, but he performed well in the defeat and even put Reigns in an “Accolade” with some steel chains.

Despite the fact that the WWE has done whatever it can to make Orton look strong, “The Apex Predator” has done his best to push other talent this year. He’s helped give Bray Wyatt and Jinder Mahal added legitimacy for a brief period of time, and Rusev is better than both of those guys. This might sound crazy, but could Rusev come out on top in this feud?
