The Raw Tag Team Division

Highlights of the division

The Raw Tag Team Champions retained their gold at No Mercy against the Bar so their next direction is feuding with Braun Strowman? It clearly doesn’t make any sense whatsoever unless Strowman is inserting himself into the tag team division. Dean Ambrose lost to Braun Strowman on Raw which didn’t make much sense at all since it devalued the championship prestige. Next week, Seth Rollins will get a crack at Braun Strowman because it looks like the WWE has finally given up on this division altogether.

The Hardy Boyz may not be existing as of this week because of the injury that Jeff Hardy suffered last week. It looks like Matt Hardy will be venturing into singles competition on Raw starting next week, which will be wonderful. The key for this singles run to work out is for Matt to start awakening his creative juices. It’ll force the WWE to figure out new ways to utilize the former tag team champion.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the division.

The Miztourage lost in their tag team match against Jason Jordan and Matt Hardy. These guys have been booked like a joke since they joined the Miz’s side back in June. Nobody can take them seriously, and they are still considered a pretender in this division because they are no different from Slater and Rhyno.

As for Gallows and Anderson, they weren’t featured on No Mercy or Raw this week. At this point, it isn’t surprising that the WWE has given up on the Club and made a huge mistake last year when they split them up and AJ Styles. They should be traded to SmackDown Live as soon as possible instead of having them sit backstage and do nothing all day.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
