The Hype Bros. Vs The Usos

New Day at Ringside

Jay Uso pins Mojo Rawley via Frogsplash

Rating: 2.5/5

The Hype Bros, make a change, by doing what they did last week. Losing. The commentary team made a big deal about how the Hype Brothers called out the Usos, that they wanted to send a message. Last I checked, the Hype Brothers lost to the Usos a month back. The match ended when Mojo tagged himself in much to the behest of Ryder. Mojo was rewarded with a superkick to the jaw followed by frogsplash for the loss.

Nothing was going to change, and as soon as the Usos took the mic after their victory I knew we probably wouldn’t see anything more from the Hype Bros. tonight. As has been the case in the past, SmackDown Live has had some of their acts running in place, and the tag team division is no different. With nothing for the Hype Bros. to do, while The Usos and New Day have the feud of the year, they are stuck in a perpetual state of deja vu.

During the match, the New Day, who were at ringside, began chanting “Mo-Jo.” Even then the WWE Universe wouldn’t get behind the Hype Bros.

After the match New Day announced that not only would they defend their SmackDown Tag Team Title belts at Hell in a Cell, they would defend them in a Hell in a Cell.
