Unleash Your Warrior

Per Brandon Stroud of UPROXX, “go back 10 years and tell the Internet that Ultimate Warrior’s legacy is honoring people with illnesses & promoting breast cancer awareness.” It’s kind of crazy to think of it that way, but that’s where we’re at right now. I mean, it’s definitely better than “lunatic man who has misguided views about homosexuality and life in general.” But still.

For the annual presentation of the championship belts to breast cancer survivors, this year WWE brought Dana Warrior to Raw. She was joined by the entire Raw Women’s Division, which makes a heck of a lot more sense than Enzo and Cass from last year.

Like I said before, it’s a great thing WWE does each year. The pink ropes may look weird to outsiders, all the pink merch from years past was strange to some, but it’s all for a good cause and that’s what matters. I mean, this review is being written by a dude who once put pink hair extensions in his beard to convince his students to make donations to cancer research. It’s important to me, and I like seeing WWE doing their part.

The rope shaking at the end was a nice touch, as well. Although, it’s a little jarring to hear Warrior’s theme music for something as serious as breast cancer research. But it’s probably the most badass fundraiser out there.
