Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal (C)

Speaking of the Modern Day Maharaja, he has a date with a familiar dance partner, the King of Strong Style.  Jinder Mahal will once again place his beloved WWE Championship on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura.  The King of Strong Style has failed to reach the pinnacle of the WWE by winning its most coveted prize.  Hell in a Cell very well may be the end of that big match winning drought.  This is one match on the card that I felt needed to be inside the HIAC most.

I see why it isn’t, as Jinder was recently inside the Punjabi Prison and the match was just awful.  But with the constant interference from the Singh Brothers in every Mahal match, the cell seemed like a no-brainer.  Nakamura will have his work cut out for him as this will essentially be a 3-1 again.

Since arriving under the WWE umbrella in NXT, Shinsuke has seemed to be missing something.  It feels as if beyond the entrance he’s struggling to find the happy balance between his in-ring style and the WWE style.  We’ve seen glimpses of it with his matches against Cena and Orton, but Mahal doesn’t seem like a fitting dance partner for Nakamura to shine.

Many will scoff at Nakamura winning being an upset, but with the WWE having its eye on India, Jinder is the favorite to retain.  A Nakamura upset would be a major surprise and spice up the Smackdown Live landscape.
