It seems as if the Beast Incarnate will be sticking around the WWE a lot longer than we all expected.

Th current reigning WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is always a hot topic surrounding the world of pro wrestling. One of the most talked about topics regarding the Beast, is when he’s leaving the WWE.

During August, surrounding SummerSlam 2017, Brock Lesnar was involved in a feud between three other men. Furthermore, Paul Heyman proclaimed that reason Raw GM Kurt Angle put Lesnar in the match was to get the title off him.

This was Heyman’s way of taking a nod to real life occurrences.

Also during this time, reports revealed that Lesnar would be leaving the WWE, following WrestleMania (if not sooner), to face Jon Jones in the UFC.

However, in case you’ve been living under a rock, Jon Jones has since been banned from any MMA competition due to failing a drug test. And this obviously makes the Lesnar vs. Jones fight non existent.

So, following all the hype and speculation, the rumours of Lesnar leaving quickly died down. And fans then expected Lesnar to be leaving following WrestleMania. However, this may also be incorrect.

According to Dana White (UFC President), Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract doesn’t expire for a long longer than we all expected.

During an interview on Friday with Dan Le Batard, White revealed that he was informed that Lesnar’s deal with the WWE runs until August 2018.

"“Well Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens any more, I’ll tell you that. They didn’t want to do that again. You saw what happened the last time he was under contract (and fought) […] ”(H/T: FightFul)"

So there you have it, according to Dana White, Lesnar will be under-contract until at least August next year.

In all honestly, once the Jones fight was gone, it would have been hard to lure the Beast back to the UFC. And now White is saying this, it could also suggests that Lesnar will sticking around for much, much longer.
