What are the key takeaways from WWE Hell in a Cell 2017?

WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 capped off in grand fashion last night. If anything, the ending has the fans buzzing with enthusiasm and confusion at the same time. For once, Sami Zayn is doing something meaningful in the WWE. On the flip side, has he turned to the dark side? What has happened to the Underdog from the Underground? What could have been his reason for helping Kevin Owens?

On a night where both the matches inside the titular structure tore the house down, there was much to note from the action. Coincidentally, it was the matches that happened outside the confines of the Devil’s playground that raised most of the issues for me. The WWE title match was an absolute disaster and despite being a WWE fan from India, it made me wonder why they are letting Jinder hold on to the title.

But more on that later in this post. There was much positive to be noted from this PPV as a whole. The tag division in particular had a blast. The kick-off match, the tag title defense and the return of the Fashion Files all made the night a good outing for the Blue brand’s tag division. What were the key things to note amidst all the chaos and violence that ensued? Which issues need to be addressed soon? What storyline progressions can we expect in the weeks ahead? Here are my top picks.
