1. What Were Sami Zayn’s Motives?

Shane McMahon looked like he had it won. He put Kevin Owens through the table, and he was preparing to jump on top of an unconscious Kevin Owens, and that is when the internet blew up.

Sami Zayn, beloved by all of the WWE Universe, is a good guy in every sense of the word. He is humble, hard working, courageous, and loyal. However, that loyalty was not reciprocated by his former best friend when Kevin Owens first joined WWE.

Since Kevin Owens stabbed Sami in the back, they have become mortal enemies, which makes the outcome of the Hell in a Cell match even more bewildering.

As Shane was jumping off of the cell, Sami Zayn came out of nowhere to pull Kevin Owens off the table and watched Shane McMahon explode through it. Then, Sami dragged Kevin Owens over to Shane McMahon so he can make the cover.

So, why did Sami Zayn decide to turn from the dark side and save Kevin Owens? Was it to get back at Shane McMahon for ignoring his advice, was it a way to win back Kevin Owens as a tag team partner, or was it because Sami Zayn was just sick of losing when he played fair?
