WWE Raw: 3 Things The Shield Could Do

2. Invade SmackDown Live
D-Generation X would etch their names forever in history by invading WCW once. Most recently, Cody Rhodes and company sort of invaded Raw. Why not build on this and have an actual invasion take place in the WWE? Last night, Roman Reigns announced to the world that they are the three work-horses who run this company now. What better way to prove it than to walk in where they are neither expected, nor invited?
In addition to creating a memorable edition of SmackDown Live, this could also lead to a more heated battle of the brands. Creative could even build this up as the Shield vs SmackDown Live and the WWE Universe would still buy into it. Because, with these three guys together and on the same page, it seems like nothing can stop them. We’ve seen the Shield compete in a massive eleven-on-three handicap match in the past.
The truth is, the Hounds of Justice can never be intimidated. They can be outnumbered but never intimidated. The pack of wolves mentality will always ensure that the Shield always comes on top. Last time, it took one of their own to bring them down. It should stay that way. Showing up at an edition of SmackDown Live and wrecking havoc will be typical Shield MO. Moreover, it would make up for an iconic sight if their theme music hit while some major main event match is going on. Additionally, creative could take this up one step by having a match at a future PPV. Imagine the likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Kevin Owens going up against the Shield!
