2. The New Day
The trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods has been a prominent force on WWE television for several years now. The New Day has had a storied WWE career up to this point since debuting in 2014 and is one of the best tag teams in recent memory.
Regardless of which two members of The New Day go to battle, the high-quality tag team wrestling never waivers and outside of being great in the ring, The New Day is one of the most entertaining entities in the WWE and has been for years.
The trio has found great success as both babyface and heel while owning several tag team title reigns. The New Day became the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all-time before last summer’s initial brand split and held the newly-formed Raw Tag Team Championship before anybody else. The New Day has had many memorable moments and feuds over time, but the trio’s defining feud came after they moved to SmackDown earlier this year.
The feud between The New Day and The Usos has raised the bar among the WWE’s tag team divisions and it led to a series of matches that tag teams haven’t produced in the WWE in a long time. And while The New Day is out of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship picture at the moment, it will certainly find a new feud and create more entertaining moments for the WWE universe.
They make sure the tag team division ain’t booty and The New Day holds steady as the second best tag team in the WWE.
