2. The Ascension Keeps Trying To Win Over Breezango

The Ascension is low-key one of the most entertaining tag team acts in the WWE, and their unremitting desire to win over Breezango as friends is one of the most entertaining storylines. These four have so much chemistry in the “Fashion Files” segments, but the Ascension didn’t kick things up a notch in their efforts to persuade Breezango until they actually tried to help them in a No. 1 Contendership match last week.

I wonder what the Ascension will do next to try to get Tyler Breeze and Fandango to finally trust them. Will the shower the two with gifts? Will they return them the favor by giving them a pie? Or how about some donuts, since Breeze and ‘Dango are cops? Maybe they’ll give them their own clothing in a misguided attempt at a gift, since I doubt Breezango would appreciate the ring gear that the Ascension clad themselves with.

Whatever the case, I’m down with seeing more segments including these four tag team wrestlers. They knock it out of the park every time, and I honestly wouldn’t be interested in a feud. I would, however, be interested in the WWE incorporating Luke Harper and Erick Rowan into this storyline.

And while Rowan and Harper now have a pretty stupid looking tag team gimmick, they are talented enough to make it work. Moreover, the plan has likely been for Rowan and Harper to feud with Breezango, and this could actually have legs to it if the Ascension get involved in some humorously ludicrous way.

Man, I never would have thought that I’d use “endearing” as a word to describe the Ascension back when they were the “Jobbers du Jour”, but here we are.
