The Raw Mid Card Division

Highlights of the division

It’s safe to say that the Miz has been the glue to Raw’s hottest main event angle of the year. I could never recall one guy who has single-handedly keep an angle this hot for consecutive weeks as the reigning Intercontinental Champion. There is absolutely no point for the WWE to have the Miz be stuck in the mid card division.

With him leading a colossal team of monsters behind him, it would be stupid for the WWE to have that erased once TLC concludes. The Miz is a main event talent as of right now, even with the Intercontinental Championship around his shoulders. If he wins in the TLC main event, everyone will know that the Miz will be one of the top cornerstones of the Raw brand.

Kane made a surprising return in the main event of Raw, helping out Braun Strowman win his steel cage match against Roman Reigns. It’s was crazy to see Kane who has been missing for close to a year make a return like that on Raw. With him being inserted into the main event of TLC by joining the Miz’s team, it’s hard to envision the Shield winning this match at all. The question is, will Kane stick around after TLC? He could stay and try to exact his revenge on Reigns for retiring his brother the Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

Meanwhile, for the rest of the division…

Jason Jordan, Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neal got a huge win in their 6 man tag team match over Elias, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. For both Jordan and Crews, they have been stuck in mid card purgatory since the Miz has been inserted into the main event scene. Same could also be said for the Drifter Elias. All three men should be clamping away for an opportunity to capture the Intercontinental Championship after TLC concludes this Sunday.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
