Highlights of the division

Braun Strowman has defeated all three members of the Shield in a span of a month after losing his opportunity to win the Universal Championship at No Mercy. Having him inserted in the TLC main event seemed like the only solution that the WWE could muster with after derailing his monster push in the main event scene with the loss to Brock Lesnar. This TLC match is perfect for the skill set of the Monster Among Men, he can destroy the Shield with tables and ladders but he’ll need to win the pinfall for his team. He needs a marquee PPV win after the last two losses he suffered at Summerslam and No Mercy.

With Roman Reigns rejoining the Shield, his fan reaction has turned 180 degrees, which should make the WWE brass grin ear-to-ear. He had a fantastic showing in the steel cage match against Braun Strowman in the main event of Raw. He did lose because of the interference of the returning Kane, which now begs the question. How will Roman Reigns be booked at TLC and afterwards. Will he be feuding with the Big Red Monster which might have stemmed from him retiring the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? Will he continue his feud with the Miz and his crew after TLC? Win or lose this Sunday, It seems like there are many avenues that Roman Reigns can take if he leads the Shield to victory or defeat after TLC.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the division…

Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor will be facing off at TLC with their alter egos clashing in their high-profile bout. Everyone is hating on this match because people expected Sister Abagail to be woman, not Bray Wyatt dressed up with an altered voice. Same could be said for Finn Balor brining back the Demon after he beat Bray Wyatt at Summerslam. The thing is that people will need to keep an open mind on how their clash will unfold at TLC but this is a must win for Bray Wyatt. If he loses with his Sister Abagail debut to the Demon than nobody will ever take him seriously anymore. Whatever intrigue he would have had would disappear once their TLC match concludes. The WWE will have destroyed the creepiest character they have ever had since the Undertaker because they have no clue how to properly use him.
