The year is almost coming to an end but one thing still remains the same; WWE booking can be quite frustrating.

The Shield reunion is a testament to that fact. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens going into a storyline together, even if they are on the same team instead of in a heated rivalry, is another. What might not be so different is the amount of WWE superstars that have been upset with booking for one reason or another.

Can you really blame them?

Who wouldn’t want to win every match? John Cena is the closest to that record. According to CageMatch.com, Cena has won almost 80% of his over 2000 matches. It’s made him an automatic heat magnet. And while he argues that he’s able to give his opinion on certain backstage decisions, he says he isn’t the decision maker.

A great wrestler isn’t a great superstar without the hands of WWE booking coming into play. We’ve all heard of WWE wrestlers going slowly into the background after being told the dreaded “booking doesn’t have anything for you right now.”

It happens. It’s just the nature of the never-ending WWE story cycle. When it happens for an extended amount of time – or multiple times – is when there is a reason to be concerned.
