5 WWE Superstars That Should Be Upset With Their Booking

Renee Young

No one wants to find out they’ve been broken up with via text message. Imagine if the person breaking up with you isn’t an actual person, but your job. That’s what happened to Renee Young, and that’s why she needs better “booking”, even if she is outside the ring. Young’s show Unfiltered with Renee Young was cancelled due to budget cuts, and the same fate befell the wildly popular Talking Smack, which Young hosted. She learned of both cancellations essentially at the same time the fans did.

In fact, I’d argue she does the opposite. Sure, she might not have some in-ring training under her belt like a Dasha Fuentes, but her relationship with Dean Ambrose is something that played off well in their short-lived on-screen acknowledgment on WWE television (outside of Total Divas). The act of pairing a couple together did wonders for The Miz’s career. Maryse’s in-ring career wasn’t even a factor in raising Miz’s profile. We can all acknowledge it’s the type of help Ambrose needs.

But to fit more of her role, I don’t think anyone would argue against giving Renee her own show again. A financial budget is important, sure. Apart from her typical “Ladies and gentlemen” role though, what else does she do? She has a presence established on WWE television.

WWE is lucky she’s married to one of their superstars.
