2. The Cruiserweights Don’t Have A Top Babyface

Enzo was thrown into the cruiserweight division as a familiar and recognizable face that could help boost 205 Live ratings and would make the Cruiserweight division more relevant.

Despite his inability to perform at the same level in the ring as his cruiserweight counterparts, this was a good thing for the cruiserweight division because the only familiar face at the time was Neville.

Neville, being the only character that fans could really get invested in, held the Cruiserweight Championship as a heel for the majority of his run as a cruiserweight. When Enzo and Neville effectively executed the double turn, 205 Live finally had a top face and top heel that could both draw ratings and interest from fans.

The only problem was that Neville ended up walking out on WWE, leaving the cruiserweight division right where it was before the arrival of Amore: with a top heel and no top face.

Kalisto, of course, entered the realm of 205 Live in an effort to fill the void of that top face, but judging by his crowd reaction when he was announced as a member of the roster and his recent promo work, Kalisto just isn’t on that Neville level.

So, expect the belt to get placed back on the waist of The Certified Heel, Enzo, as WWE goes back to work on building a top face that can take it away from him. Look for Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, or even Gran Metalik to try to fill this void.
