4. GFW Allowing Partner Promotions to be Shown on Their Broadcasts

I love seeing Impact bring exposure to the promotions that they work with.  Over the past few months, Global Force Wrestling announced partnerships with many different wrestling companies.  This was another example of Impact showing members of their roster while in another company.  Eli Drake was show in AAA a few weeks ago defending his GFW Global Championship.

When these partnerships started, the respective champions of their promotions were allowed to wear their titles.  Mario Bokara and Fallah Bahh debuted in Impact as champions.  This made them legitimate threats immediately in the tag team division.  When debuting new superstars, it always works in your favor from a booking perspective to show the pedigree of your wrestlers.

Tonight, there was a five way match pinning Impact Wrestling against the AAA promotion.  The match featured James Storm, Ethan Carter III, Eddie Edwards, Texano, and Fantasma. It was a watch worthy match but didn’t really make sense.  The commentary played up the fact that it was Team Impact vs Team AAA but it was every man for himself.  There were several times where the “teams” didn’t get along.
