WWE SmackDown 5 Biggest Stars: All About The Usos

4. AJ Styles
It has been a phenomenal week for AJ Styles. First he showed up at TLC to take on ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor. Then he was at Raw, teaming with The Shield before beating them down along with a number of other Team Red Superstars to close out the show. Shane McMahon revealed on SmackDown that allowing Styles to compete on Raw was all part of the plan.
But Styles’ big week didn’t end there. He crushed Sunil Singh on SmackDown, who was fighting in Jinder Mahal’s honor. It’s only a matter of time before The Phenomenal One receives a WWE Championship opportunity.
It’s now a question of when and where, and what will the outcome be? Could Styles actually win the title before Survivor Series and go on to face Brock Lesnar instead of Mahal?
Considering the back and forth we’ve seen between Jinder and Paul Heyman on their respective shows this week, that might be a stretch. But Styles’ stock is rising, and he should be the man to take the WWE Championship away from Mahal when the time is right.
Styles is going to play a major role for SmackDown at Survivor Series one way or another. He was again one of the stars of the show Tuesday night.
