WWE SmackDown Live Winners and Losers: Dissension Between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan

Loser: Kevin Owens
KO didn’t even have a match this week. He popped up in a quick backstage segment with Sami Zayn. Then he interfered in Zayn’s main event match against Randy Orton, trying to help his brother Sami win the first spot on SmackDown‘s Survivor Series team.
But the interference backfired, Sami took a low blow from Orton, and Orton won the match. Now Sami is left out of the Survivor Series match, and chances are Owens will be right behind him next week. Why is Owens likely following Zayn? This:
Let’s be honest – Shinsuke Nakamura is going to be on the Survivor Series team. He took part in the beatdown on Raw, he’s one of the most popular and charismatic superstars in WWE, and he’s got literally nothing else going on. So next week, Nakamura is going to win his match against Owens.
Where does this leave Owens? If he and Zayn are not part of the Survivor Series team for SmackDown Live, what will they be doing in four weeks? Could they defect and offer their services to Kurt Angle? Is that something that’s even being considered by the creative team? Will it be a one-off, or would they move to Raw permanently?

Normally, a jump from one brand to another would be a positive for any superstar. But with so many unanswered questions regarding KO at the moment, I can’t consider him a big winner at the moment. And the uncertainty has him in worse shape than when SmackDown started this week.
