2. American Top Team and Impact Wrestling Come to a Head In the Ring

Moose versus Lashley has been one of the most anticipated matches in the modern Impact Wrestling era.  The MMA against pro wrestling rivalry has been one of the most realistic and must see feuds in Impact.  American Top Team have jumped the rails, beat up Impact stars and officials, and disrespected the fans.  This has all the makings to be one of the best rivalries of the year with drawing potential.

The early goings of this match went back and forth between the two athletic powerhouses.  There’s no numbers advantage for either man in this match of Lambert allows Lashley to regain the edge.  This match was a physical  encounter with personal ties as both men go after the other’s love.

Lashley remains in control on the outside of the ring which seems to be enemy territory for him at this point given his allegiance to MMA.  As usual, Walking Armageddon has all the confidence in the world even taking a water break in the middle of the match.  Moose plays into the physique of Lashley giving him a chance to quicken the pace on comeback. As Moose finds his way back into the match, Dan Lambert hits Moose with a trophy.  The rest of American Top Team jumps in but Moose and Bonner fight them off with a little reinforcements.  This was the perfect way to end this match to keep everyone intrigued and book every competitor strong.  Moose then makes a subtle change to the fight at Bound for Glory and issues a challenge for a Six Sides of Steel.
