WWE Raw 5 Biggest Stars: The Monster Among Men Returns

WWE Raw came up with another solid show that saw more than one main event star return to the action. Who were the biggest stars from the night?
WWE Raw continued the build towards the upcoming Survivor Series. Many big names returned to the action ahead of the PPV. One of those names was Stephanie McMahon. The Billion Dollar Princess wasted little time berating the General Manager, much like she used to, before taking off. Stephanie is a great heel authority figure. But the problem is, everything about her is so formulaic and calculated. There is nothing impulsive about her character, except for the occasional slaps and that has led to her character getting stale. All of her promos having the same tone and subject in them does not help either.
While she was threatening Angle about the priority of Raw winning over SmackDown, and how it was a necessity, she could have tried to bring in some continuity by talking about how her father was attacked at the very show. Instead, we got the tried and tested usual verbal banter. However, that doesn’t mean the show was bad. Nia Jax, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman would all make their return on the same night. Needless to say, they all had a blast and found themselves at the positive end of things.
My biggest issue with the proceedings from last night however, is with Kane. He is being built up for another Monster run, I get it. But why? This is 2017. Why on Earth is he beating the likes of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins? Moreover, why would he attack Daniel Bryan? That spot could have been used to generate a ton of heat for some other up and coming heel on the roster who could have put it to good use. What about the continuous mishandling of Anderson and Gallows?
But let’s get back to Kane. It seems like creative is rather adamant that I should name him the top star of the night. No way man! It doesn’t matter what Kane does, there is no logical explanation for it. I will not have him on this list under my watch. Just kidding! I actually found another potential star making performance last night. That person is the number five entrant in my list.
