3. Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss picked up another successful title defense last night on Raw. Bliss might very well be done with Mickie James at this point in time and could be focusing on taking on Natalya. Unless, there is a title change out of the blue that is. Anyhow, Bliss once again earned a convincing victory over her challenger and retained the title. It is refreshing to see her hold on to the title for a significant time, as opposed to the hot potato game we witnessed last year.
In addition to this, Bliss got to main event another episode of WWE Raw. The fact that this statement did not necessarily possess any real impact further strengthens the fact that the Women’s Revolution has indeed come a long way. A match from the division being featured in the main event spot isn’t really news worthy anymore. Because this has begun to happen much often than before. That is a good thing in all manner of speech.
Bliss can now look forward to taking on her next challenge, in the form of Natalya. Brand pride would be on the line. Moreover, the winner would decisively be the best Women’s wrestler across both brands. Bliss is an early favorite on my list too. Unless SmackDown throws us a curve ball and places the title on Charlotte’s capable shoulders that is. What will the Wicked Witch have in store for us next week? A bunch of insults directed towards Natalya? We will have to wait and see.
