WWE SmackDown Live Winners and Losers: All About Shane McMahon
By Bryan Heaton
Loser: Dolph Ziggler
It’s no secret that I haven’t been in love with Dolph Ziggler of late. The whole schtick with the entrance mimicry, or the lack of entrance music, has been the lamest of the lame. And making it to the (hopeful) end of the feud against the Glorious Bobby Roode had me hoping that it really was the end.
Indeed, chances are Ziggler and Roode are finished with one another. But with Ziggler coming up short, not only does he lose the feud, but he misses out on Survivor Series. Losing the 2 out of 3 falls match this week puts Dolph on the outside looking in.
For a former world champion like the Show Off, it’s kind of a shame. Remember how just about one year ago, Ziggler was finishing up one of the best stories of his career against The Miz? Here’s a guy who put his career on the line for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship not even getting on the Survivor Series show. Lest we forget, Ziggler has some history of coming up big at Survivor Series – remember 2014?

Look, I’m a big fan of getting Bobby Roode onto the Survivor Series team. It’s a great chance for him to show his worth on a big stage. But beating Ziggler leaves Dolph with literally nothing going on at the moment. That lack of momentum is brutal for Ziggler.
