3. What lies ahead for Dolph Ziggler?

It seems that once again in his career, Dolph Ziggler is at cross roads. After trying out his hand at mocking the fans and fellow wrestlers for their inclination towards gimmicks as opposed to skills, Dolph has once again lost. After losing a two out of three falls match against Bobby Roode this week on SmackDown Live, Dolph cut yet another emotional promo backstage. The match itself was an average one, with Dolph gaining the early upper hand. However, there were bigger stakes as a position on the Survivor Series team was on the line and Dolph was evidently, beaten clean.

There are two things that Ziggler is insanely good at. The first is putting on a great performance and putting over his opponent. The second is cutting an emotional promo. Ziggler would cut an amazing promo backstage, that was true to its core.

The big question is, what’s next for Dolph Ziggler. He has been at this position before, questioning his career decisions and motives. That transpired into an amazing match at last year’s No Mercy against the Miz. But Dolph was relegated to the usual 50-50 booking that has always plagued him following his title win. Will things be different this time around? Is he turning face now? Will he rejuvenate himself and do something noteworthy? Or is it all over?
