4. Braun Strowman returns to take out the trash

Strowman’s return was equal parts over the top and awesome at the same time. The moment Axel saw picked up the trash from the locker room you knew Strowman was coming. But associating Strowman with trash, just because he was thrown into a garbage truck isn’t necessarily a good thing. Moreover, a returning Monster rising from a pile of trash? Not great when you imagine that scene alone.

But combine it with the fact that the Monster Among Men couldn’t be stopped even by a garbage truck and you have something that made it all work. Strowman’s impressive athleticism was also on full display here as he leaped and ran across the Limo, chasing after the Miz. Strowman’s return was booked so entertainingly that he topped my list of top stars from Raw.

In addition, Strowman was named as the first member of Team Raw. It will be interesting to see a babyface Strowman working alongside a team. Normally, he is the one who flips out and walks out on his team. Will he be the brave warrior and potentially the fabled Lone Survivor this year? Either creative made the right use of Strowman’s return this week.
