3. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s Survivor Series Plans Still Uncertain

Survivor Series is less than two weeks away and the hottest heel duo in the WWE is currently still not on the card.  Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have turned SmackDown upside down over the past few weeks in their quest to take over Tuesday nights.

The duo’s plan was to join Team SmackDown at Survivor Series and win the match for their team, just so SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon would owe them.  But after Zayn lost to Randy Orton and Owens lost to Shinsuke Nakamura, the opportunity to join the blue team eluded them.

But even with them not on Team SmackDown, they would certainly be on the card at Survivor Series, right?  As it turns out, that remains to be seen.  Last night’s SmackDown saw Zayn battle Kofi Kingston of The New Day and next week’s SmackDown will see KO and Zayn battling The New Day.  But where does that leave Owens and Zayn at Survivor Series?

Perhaps the WWE will include them in a match at the pay-per-view, but having them off the card could go a long way in the future building of the duo.  If KO and Zayn aren’t on the card, that could set up a potential deception where the duo costs Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.

Regardless if the duo is on the card or not, the WWE needs to take advantage of Owens and Zayn at Survivor Series one way or another.
