2. Two Potential Title Changes on Next Week’s SmackDown
The two major brands of the WWE have seen their fair share of surprises in recent memory, especially over the past few days. Unexpected title changes have shaken up both Raw and SmackDown along with the Survivor Series card.
And as we found out on last night’s edition of SmackDown, we will see two title matches on next week’s SmackDown. After Charlotte got the win over Natalya at Hell in a Cell without winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship, many believed she would get another shot at the gold. And last night backed up that premise with a match made for next week’s SmackDown.
Charlotte will get another shot at Natalya’s women’s title next week, but that wasn’t the only title match made for next week. It was announced that United States Champion Baron Corbin will defend his title against the recent thorn in his side, Sin Cara. Both of these matches could potentially help further shake up the Survivor Series card.
With Natalya currently set to battle Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series, having Charlotte defeat Natalya next week is a real possibility and having Charlotte battle Bliss would make more sense in terms of having a babyface vs. heel match. The same can be said if Sin Cara defeats Corbin next week and goes on to face The Miz at Survivor Series. It seems highly unlikely Sin Cara will defeat Corbin, but Charlotte defeating Natalya could happen.
With how much Survivor Series has been changed recently, more change could occur next week on SmackDown with two title matches.
