5. Tie: Charlotte Gets A Title Shot/Carmella Shows Who’s Boss

Coming in at number five we have a tie, with SmackDown‘s Charlotte and Carmella making some waves this week. First up let’s discuss Charlotte, she was ringside for Becky Lynch’s big match against James Ellsworth and she helped keep him in the ring.

Supporting her friend is one thing, however, after the match there was some action backstage as well. As Charlotte was talking to Shane McMahon, SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya walked in. Proclaiming that she could not only face Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series but also compete on Team SmackDown.

Shane didn’t seem too pleased with her ego, and by shaking things up he has given Charlotte a shot at the title. Indeed Charlotte will go one on one for the SmackDown Women’s Title next week against Natalya with the winner facing Alexa Bliss at the PPV. Charlotte not only made a strong appearance, but she gained herself a chance to potentially become a champion.

Next  we have Carmella. While she didn’t have a match this week she did make an impact of her own. By James Ellsworth’s side for his match, she made her dissatisfaction known over his loss by delivering a huge kick to him after the match. There could have been an altercation between Carmella and Becky Lynch here, but Carmella stated her dominance by taking out Ellsworth.

That is certainly one way to make an impact, and she certainly doesn’t want anyone to forget who Miss Money In The Bank is. With the SmackDown Women’s team seemingly being on the same page by this action, they may stand a chance against Raw who has a strong team forming.
