4. Braun Strowman Gets Needed Momentum

For several months on Raw, there was no hotter superstar than the Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.  Strowman had developed into the most dominant force in the WWE and was riding high into his first world title, pay-per-view main event match against Brock Lesnar at No Mercy.

But since losing to Lesnar at No Mercy, Strowman has had little to no direction.  And to make matters worse, he has been booked to look weak at times as well.  Kane’s return to Raw was centered around Strowman and it was inevitable we’d see a showdown between the two.

And on last night’s Raw, the WWE universe got one when Strowman battled Kane in the main event.  Although the match really never got started due to both men wanting to decimate the other, a key spot helped the Monster Among Men get the upper hand over the Big Red Machine.

Strowman lined up Kane for his patented running powerslam, but this powerslam would be different than ever before for Strowman.  The powerslam sent both men crashing through the ring as Raw went off the air.  This likely won’t be the last meeting between these two, but this helped Strowman get some needed momentum back.

The Monster Among Men is starting to look monstrous again and could help shake up Team Raw at Survivor Series.
