3. Jason Jordan Will Never Get Over as a Babyface

An unexpected twist on Raw in recent months has been the emergence of Jason Jordan on Monday nights.  His arrival was centered around him being the kayfabe son of Raw GM Kurt Angle, which was meant to be a starting point of his push to prominence.

But as the WWE has found out over the past few months, that plan has backfired.  For as talented of an athlete as Jordan is, he has yet to gain the affection of the WWE universe despite the WWE’s best efforts in doing so.  Fans boo Jordan weekly and last night’s Raw was particularly negative towards the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion.

In Jordan’s match with the returning Bray Wyatt, he was attacked after the match and the crowd loved every second of it with cheers and applause towards his beatdown.  The same could be said for later in the night when he was taken off Team Raw at Survivor Series due to his kayfabe injury.

Despite the WWE’s failure to get Jordan over as a babyface, last night’s Raw could have potentially set up the potential for a heel turn in the near future.  And at this point, that’s exactly what Jordan needs to finally get over with the WWE universe.

The talent is there, but the WWE has to start booking Jordan the right way if the company ever wants him as a prominent role on Monday nights.
