3. Could Paige Return at Survivor Series to Join Team SmackDown?

With Survivor Series only days away, the Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown battles are almost set in stone at this point.  But one spot remains open for Team SmackDown’s women’s team after last night’s SmackDown that featured a title change.

Who could fill that open void for Team SmackDown?  Many would argue it could be filled by the returning Paige.  Paige has been out of the WWE for a while, but many believed her return would come on the Nov. 13 edition of Raw as she was spotted backstage.  But as we found out, she did not appear on Raw.

But after last night’s SmackDown that featured a women’s title change, the opportunity is there for Paige to make a surprise return at Survivor Series and join Team SmackDown.  It’s easy to assume Natalya would be a perfect choice for the replacement, but the WWE could make a big splash with Paige returning.

It would create a great Survivor Series moment and could greatly shake up SmackDown’s women’s division in the coming weeks and months.  And with Raw’s recent addition of Asuka, adding Paige to SmackDown would make a lot of sense to balance the scales.

Survivor Series has been an event centered around major moments, and Paige returning as the unexpected fifth member of Team SmackDown would add another moment to Survivor Series history.
