5. Jinder Mahal interferes and costs AJ Styles a victory over the Beast

If we look back, Jinder Mahal is the one person who started this whole battle of the brands. The Modern day Maharaja issued challenge from out of nowhere to Brock Lesnar, in order to gain the respect of the WWE Universe. From there, things escalated quickly and the Survivor Series PPV was changed into a hyped version of Bragging Rights PPV.

Owing to different reasons, Mahal was booked to drop his WWE title and instead, we now have AJ Styles as the WWE champion. This match pitting the Phenomenal One against the Beast Incarnate is indeed a dream match. Moreover, it made everything about Survivor Series ten times better. Styles is an incredible athlete and might go toe-to-toe with Lesnar.

However, do not expect Jinder Mahal to accept his defeat and lay low, especially since Styles basically erased his name from the card. An angry and focused Mahal would interfere in the match between Styles and Lesnar, just as the former seems to have had the upper hand. Mahal’s interference could be the reason Styles loses to Lesnar. Brock Lesnar is a beast. All he needs is a few seconds of a distracted opponent and he will take them to Suplex City and finish the job.

This kind of finish would ensure there is sufficient heat on Mahal and his feud with Styles. I don’t see him reclaiming the gold before the India tour since Mahal will be taking on Triple H. Regardless, he could be feuding with Styles until the next PPV. This kind of interference from Mahal would ensure continuity for their feud.
