5. Neville set to return?

Could Neville be returning to the WWE?

According to PWInsider, via Daily DDT, the answer is yes. And it could happen as soon as this month. This would be huge news for a Cruiserweight division lacking in star power. Neville was long the face of 205 Live, but walked away just as it appeared he was turning babyface.

I’ve long been of the opinion that the WWE should load 205 Live with big names. No longer would it be seen as a demotion to be part of the show. If Neville returns, he should again assume a dominant role in the division, becoming Enzo’s biggest rival. But the show has far more potential than that.

Why not bring in Finn Balor on a part-time basis? Sure, Balor can still compete in mid-card feuds and challenge for the Universal Championship when an opportunity presents, but in the meantime he could become a dominant babyface on 205 Live alongside a heel Neville. Pete Dunne could make an impact in the division. So could Johnny Gargano and Tyler Bate when the timing is right.

But that’s an entirely different conversation. The positives and negatives of this can be debated for days, but there’s no doubting the division would benefit from a Neville return.
