3. Triple H returns, joins Raw Survivor Series team
The game just got taken up a notch. Oh it’s true, that pun was intended. It’s damn true.
Jason Jordan’s addition to the Raw Survivor Series team always felt a bit “meh”. And that could have been by design. The fact he’s been pulled from the match could add tension between him and Kurt Angle down the line. Maybe Jordan will stab his dad in the back during Sunday’s match.
With Angle, Shane McMahon and John Cena already giving the five-on-five match blockbuster appeal, the bar was raised even higher with the addition of Triple H. That’s before we even mention Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton. The table is set for one of the biggest traditional Survivor Series matches in history.
The Game’s addition also adds intrigue to the developing storyline between himself, Angle and Stephanie McMahon. Angle has been belittled, blamed and effectively placed on the GM hot seat by Stephanie. Will it lead to a WrestleMania match between Angle and Triple H? If so, the foundations are being set already, and that’s never a bad thing.
The entire Survivor Series card is loaded, making it one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Triple H just makes it all the more interesting.
