WWE Survivor Series 2017: How Jason Jordan Should Turn Heel

Survivor Series is today, and it’s one PPV the WWE Universe is excited about. There are many different matches to be excited about too, but we’re going to focus on the potential of a Jason Jordan heel-turn, and how WWE should execute said turn.

For those of you who haven’t heard, “Survivor Series is the one time a year when Raw and SmackDown go head-to-head!” And Jason’s “father” Kurt Angle, the GM of Raw, is also the Raw Team Captain; which could easily open the door for a much awaited Jason Jordan heel turn.

When Jordan was added to the traditional 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Team Match for today fans were already fantasy booking the Jordan turn.

This past Monday however, Bray Wyatt attacked Jordan after their match injuring his knee in the process. Angle then hesitated while making a tough decision to take his “son” off the team for tonight, as Triple H announced himself the fifth member of Team Raw for tonight.

Jordan being removed from the team, and then pedigreed by Triple H, sets up a heel turn even more than before. But probably not in the way you would think. That’s what we do here at DailyDDT, we think outside the box, and bring the ideas to you.

Tension between Angle and Triple H today is given, and a fight between the two should break out, leading to Jordan running down to the ring.

Jordan should come down and stand by his father to ward off Triple H. After they stand side by side for a few seconds Jordan should hit Angle with the Angle slam and then walk out of the ring, leading to Kurt being pinned, and eventually Raw losing the match.

The next night on Raw Jordan should reveal that he was working with Hunter and Stephanie, as he becomes the next Authority henchman, and get all the preferential treatment, much like Seth Rollins before him.

This sets up for an Angle return at Royal Rumble, costing his son the Rumble by eliminating him from the match. If WWE wants, and I think this would be a better match, they could do Jordan vs. Angle at WrestleMania 34.

Jordan needs a storyline like this. His ring work is solid; he’s great in between the ropes and doesn’t get enough credit for it either. His character is weak, though he is getting better on the mic. His promo this week, begging Angle not to take him out of the match today, was his best yet.

If WWE can get him to tap into that real emotion after he turns on Angle today, on Raw tomorrow night, then it very easily could be the catalyst for his push in WWE.
