1. Return of Paige Dramatically Shakes Up Raw Women’s Division
It was only a matter of time before a return would shake up the women’s division, and last night saw that come to fruition. The rumors of Paige making her return to the WWE after a lengthy absence were at a high leading into Survivor Series and many speculated she could return at the event.
But instead of returning at Survivor Series, Paige reemerged on last night’s Raw as a prominent match was taking place. A Fatal 4-Way between Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox, and Mickie James was set to determine a new number one contender for Alexa Bliss’ s Raw Women’s Championship, but the match never ended.
Paige’s music hit and she stood atop the stage to announce her long-awaited return. But she also announced, she wasn’t alone. And as she headed towards the ring, the main roster debuts of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose from NXT took place with all three women taking out the individuals in the match that was going on.
Paige, Deville, and Rose then turned their attention to Bliss backstage and eventually attacked her as well. In a matter of minutes, Paige’s return and Deville and Roses’s debuts dramatically changed the landscape of Raw’s women’s division.
The women’s division on Monday nights has taken a drastic shift after last night and Paige, Deville, and Rose should ensure Raw’s women’s division will be turned upside down for weeks and months to come.
