At Survivor Series, WWE SmackDown took a hard loss at the hands of Raw, and they were completely obliterated in the 5-on-5 main event at the hands of Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Braun Strowman.

WWE SmackDown Live commissioner Shane McMahon has some questions to answer tonight, because his Survivor Series team completely failed on Sunday. He ended up being the sole survivor in the match, and he stood no chance against the final three of Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Braun Strowman.

While Raw lacked cohesiveness as a team, they still obliterated SmackDown Live, so what does that say about Shane? He spent so much time worrying about invasions and playing mindgames, yet the final product was lacking. The man inserted himself onto the team ahead of far more qualified people, such as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, and it will be interesting to see if GM Daniel Bryan has something to say about it.

There are plenty of other storylines to look forward to tonight, in addition to the fallout from Survivor Series, which is hopefully more captivating than Raw‘s return to the Authority. Last night on Raw, Paige returned and completely shook up the women’s division with Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose (both from NXT) by her side. Could the women’s division on SmackDown Live do the same, especially since they failed to emerge victorious during their 5-on-5 match?

Meanwhile, the tag team division on SmackDown Live remains a highlight, and I’m sure there will be more stories to come. And as for the WWE Championship, Jinder Mahal is likely ready to take the fight to AJ Styles. Could they have a match for the title tonight, or will Jinder wait until Clash of Champions to invoke his rematch clause?

Find out the answers to all of these pressing questions and more tonight on SmackDown Live. When the show starts, follow along for live analysis on all of the entertaining matches and segments that are sure to come your way.
