Owens And Zayn Recruit People

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn need allies for their Lumberjack match, and they first try to get Baron Corbin on their side. As you may remember, Corbin and Owens have some history, as Corbin helped Owens out by being a special guest referee for his United States Championship match with AJ Styles. They then try to persuade Bobby Roode, who was in the Survivor Series match the duo ruined and had none of their overtures, verbally shredding them before punctuating his rant by stating that he owes Owens and Zayn a “receipt”.

Ruby Riot Debuts

Last night on Raw, NXT’s Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville teamed up with Paige and made a statement against the rest of the women’s division. Tonight, Ruby Riot announced herself with fellow NXT stars Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan, and they laid the beat down on Naomi. They did the same thing to Becky Lynch, and she sold everything tremendously. This is an exciting angle, and it will be interesting to see if there’s a link between these Raw and SmackDown women’s invasion storylines from NXT given their similarities.

Shane McMahon told Daniel Bryan that he wasn’t aware of these changes when it comes to calling up these women, but he likes it. He also said that he agrees with Bryan’s decision-making about putting Zayn and Owens into the match, since he believes that’s when Bryan will fire the duo. Shane finishes by saying he’s leaving and wishes Bryan a good night.
