Hype Bros vs. Bludgeon Brothers

Result: Harper and Rowan Win Via Pinfall (Rawley pinned)

Rating: Squash

The Bludgeon Brothers make their highly-anticipated debut on SmackDown Live, and they will likely get a win over the cold Hype Bros. Over the past couple of months, the Hype Bros have rarely been on television, and when they are on TV, they always lose. They also always lose due to miscommunication between Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley, but because the WWE isn’t sure what to do with this tag team, neither has turned heel.

I just want to say that the Bludgeon Brothers theme song is surprisingly pretty good, considering the initial reviews of their theme at a house show were poor.

Immediately, the Bludgeon Brothers showed their savageness, as Luke Harper completely obliterated Zack Ryder on the outside, slamming him into the steel steps. And maybe the brutality of facing the Bludgeon Brothers, will help Mojo Rawley and Ryder finally get on the same page.

Harper and Rowan started slapping each other around to get themselves ready to put some big moves on Rawley, who was completely dominated throughout. It was a squash through and through, and it was a great way to showcase SmackDown Live’s newest tag team.

2B continued…and you can better believe that the rest of the tag team division is fully on notice.
