1. Dissension Building Between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan

An underrated development on SmackDown in recent weeks has been the interactions between SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan.  The two babyface authority figures have always been on the same page, but as of late, not nearly as much.

Over the past few weeks, Bryan and Shane O’Mac have both mentioned on several occasions that one did something without running it by the other and things of that nature.  And more of the same happened last night when Shane called out Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for their actions at Survivor Series.

Shane was about to fire the duo before Bryan came out and said they would compete in a lumberjack match later in the night.  Another backstage segment later also saw Shane O’Mac voice his displeasure of Bryan not mentioning the trio of Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan would debut last night.  Following Owens and Zayn’s victory in the lumberjack match, Owens pleaded with Bryan to not fire them.

But Bryan said he was never going to fire them in the first place as he sees the talent they bring to the blue brand.  This certainly will cause more friction between Shane and Bryan.  Will Bryan turn heel on Shane O’Mac?  Will Shane turn on Bryan?  There are several possibilities here and it seems like the WWE has something up its sleeve regarding these two.

Two of the most over talents in the WWE are authority figures, but how much longer will they be on the same page?  It’s looking like not much longer.
